Window Rebates $100 per opening

The Ontario government offers rebates for energy-efficient window and door replacements through the Home Renovation Savings Program. To qualify, more than one energy efficiency upgrade must be performed.

Rebate Details:
  • Rebate Amount: $100 per rough opening for ENERGY STAR-certified windows and doors.
  • Eligible Upgrades: Complete window or door replacements, including frames, with ENERGY STAR-certified products.
Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the rebate, you’ll need to:

  • Own an eligible home: Single detached, semi-detached, row/townhome, or mobile home on a permanent foundation.
  • Use eligible heating: Primary heating with natural gas furnace or boiler (Enbridge customers) or electric heating (connected to the Ontario electricity grid).
  • Hire a licensed contractor: Ensure professional installation of your new windows and doors (Big Red Home Comfort).
  • Meet energy efficiency standards: Choose ENERGY STAR-certified products.
  • Must have an energy audit performed.

The Ontario government offers rebates for energy-efficient heat pump replacements through the Home Renovation Savings Program.

Rebate Details:

Heating with Electricity, Oil, Propane, or Wood:
Cold Climate Air Source 
Rebate Rate $1,250 / Ton
MAX REBATE: $7,500

  • Hire a licensed professional contractor registered with Enbridge or Save On Energy (Big Red Home Comfort).
